Rooster Day Parade

As you saw on my events page, I was able to ride in the largest Rooster Day parade ever! In Oklahoma, you just NEVER know what you might see or get. Especially at the largest parade ever right? Well, this creative man puts a new spin on the word RECYCLE!

Let it begin!

Let the whirlwind begin! I have always been classified as a 'busy' person. I would not change it for anything in the world! I love doing what I do, trying to make a difference, changing the state in which my children will grow up and making my family proud. Make a difference today...

A new baby girl!

My very dear friend, whom we have not missed many big events in each other's lives since the 8th grade, had to miss my state pageant. But, for a very good reason. She was having a BABY! Her 2nd beautiful baby girl, Carter was born March 2nd. I love you Jen and missed you at the pageant but you were in my thoughts and prayers and I know you were in spirit!

Welcome Carter!

Sleep?

I have always been taught we each need our "beauty sleep" because our brains, body and soul need to have a chance to recoup from the day before" so I am wondering when after my amazing night, will I actually start to sleep? Well worth it..

Word of wisdom...

Be the change you want to see in the world
- Ghandi

I will do my best to follow the words of Ghandi in my reign as Mrs. OK International 2010.

What! I won?

It is hard to believe, but all the hard work paid off! I did it! I won! Thank you to my Lord, Jesus Christ and my family and friends and to every type 1 diabetic child and adult I am fighting for!

Getting closer

I am packed and ready to go. I heard our car wasn't 'big enough' for all my bags. Mmmm...don't they know we should ALWAYS be prepared?
